What can I see?
Located at the end of the second DRS zone, South Grandstand offers a view of a key part of the circuit. Within one second of another car can activate the DRS, making the car aerodynamically faster than its rival - so you can expect to see the results of overtaking and lapping as they enter the sharp, complex turns in front of the grandstand. Take in the action, and enjoy one of the most incredible panoramic views in motorsports.
What do I get with my ticket?
You will have a reserved seat in the South grandstand, as well as access to the Oasis areas, where you can purchase food and beverages, as well as available merchandise. Your ticket will also include general admission access to the after-race concerts for every day that it is valid.
Upgrade your three day Grandstand ticket to the Club! Not only will you be able to watch all the Formula 1™ action from your reserved seat in the grandstand, but you will also be given exclusive access to a separate informal air-conditioned indoor lounge area with great facilities including private outlets with food and beverages which you can purchase. The Club area will be located outside of the grandstand and does not offer a view of the race.
The price below includes a Grandstand ticket and access to the Club area.

Abu Dhabi is always a great venue, and this was the 3rd time we had used the south club and the 2nd time with our 5 year old granddaughter, we cleared security into the club lounge and got our wristbands before entry. I went to the children's play area inside the lounge and after about 5 minutes I was challenged by a security guard who informed me my granddaughter was not allowed in........I tried to explain this was her second time in the lounge and we had a full valid ticket and wristband, he was fairly aggressive and frightened my granddaughter, and she thought she had did something wrong, outcome was we were allowed to stay but this took 30 minutes and spoiled the quallies for us. Taxi should be better organised after the event, it is a bit of a free for all and again spoils a good day, especially when you have young family.

Having been to Monza, Nuerburgring and Spa Francorchamps, this was just simply an outstanding and amazing experience, congratulations!!! On the negative side: There was simply no chance to get to the Rihanna concert in time from GrandStand. This happened to thousands of people. You need to make sure that people can have a firm reservation and guaranteed entry, else this is just not serious. Or at least declare that this is first-in-first-served. If we would have known, we would have even left 20 minutes before the race end.

A really great few days but everything is very very expensive. The quality of viewing from the south grandstand was superb. All the action after the second long straight with DRS is very close. Only criticism would be the lack of other races. Gp2 and Gp3 are great but there was a lot of time without any action on track.

Yes Marina circuit is great. Very clean. Lots of facilities and never seems overcrowded even when it's full. It is fairly expensive to buy food and drink her but then Abu Dhabi is expensive. My only criticism is that they won't let you take in your own water you have to buy everything onsite. The stands are clean and great viewing. Everything is well controlled and there is entertainment in the circuit too. South stand is a fantastic view of lots of race action. Well worth paying a bit extra for south club as you get an air conditioned building to have your refreshments in and the food is of a better quality though the outside catering has improved this year.

Fantastic weekend, great circuit, excellent facilities. The shuttle bus requires some thought as it does get over whelmed at peak periods.

Cheap taxis from the city (about £10 each way). Much better now that they have park and ride, plus taxis at the Marina. Great views from the South Stand. Reasonable prices for food and drink. Friendly staff at the track. Shame about the large groups who seemed more interested in drinking and not watching the race. Lots and lots of empty seats - come on Bernie make the races more interesting and competitive before the paying public turn their backs on F1.

This was our first F1 race and it was great. We were in Abu Dhabi visiting our kids and took the opportunity to attend. We had assigned seating on the second row of the lower South Grandstand. This was a very nice location with a very good view of the cars coming on the second DRS "dogleg" straight, right into the corner which gave good passing opportunities. There is a large diamondvision screen right in front so you could follow the races. The view of the circuit, the marina and the Viceroy hotel were great. While it was still warm (OK, hot) during the day, the sun was BEHIND the stands after noon and in the afternoon the breeze picks up so it was never uncomfortable. We only went Saturday and Sunday but enjoyed every minute. It's also an easy walk to the marina (Sunday PM, before the main F1 race) where we enjoyed a cool beer (yes!) and the scenery. As others have mentioned, the "lounge" which was extra cost but allowed you to get beer and wine in an air conditioned environment wasn't up to the standards of the rest of the circuit. And it's at the lowest level! So while other grandstands have lounges with view of the track, this one does not - you can only see the racing action on rather smallish flat screens mounted on the wall. The food selection (Pizza and wraps) wasn't great either. But the beer prices were reasonable for the venue - 120 AED for 4 beers - or about $8 per beer. We only attended the Muse concert on Saturday (our kids are fans). Had to wait TWO hours after getting to DU Arena for them to start a one hour gig. The parking - once you figure out the quick way to the Blue W (west) lot is VERY convenient - and the bus system very good. The hardest part is when everyone is trying to leave, the lines to catch the buses are confusing. The good part is that there are a LOT of buses, and when you get back to your car, you can be heading back to Abu Dhabi center in ten minutes! We didn't attend the Friday or Sunday concerts so can't comment. There were also what seemed like thousands of taxis - but the wait to get in one of these looked to be longer that the Bus-W parking method. Oh yes- the race! Well, since Vettel had already won the chanpionship, and he motored away as if he were in a different world, we were left to enjoy the best of the rest and there were some good races (Webber, Alonso and Massa, Grosjean). Very disappointed at Kimi getting relegated to the back of the grid -and then not even completing a quarter lap! Security and safety were excellent everywhere - ALL the track personnel went out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. If we are in Abu Dhabi again at the same time we will definitely try to attend.

I have been to this circuit for the last three years, decided to stay in Abu Dhabi centre this time for a change but was surprised how long it takes to get to Yas Marina, next time I would stay in Dubai like the previous years. Facility is fantastic, great experience as the dusk / night race makes it all worth it, good support racing with the GP2 & 3 and the Porsche race. Overall well worth the effort to attend.

From booking this event with you guys its been 5* all the way. We sat in South Stand and paid extra for South Club Access (well worth the extra) for air con and no queues for food/drink etc in between the races. It states you cant bring your own food and drink in but you could lots of people did which we only found out on the last day (would have saved us a little money)

Variety of food wasn't great

The parking was a fiasco. No clear instructions about how the bus system works. Transportation workers gave different answers for the same question. The busses made different stops and some drivers did not announce where they were when stopped and it was dark outside and we could not see through the window. The parking lot rows within an area were not marked. It was a stressful way to end each day : (

Easily the best circuit for racing, viewing and accessing. Abu Dhabi is also incredible and the Yas Marina Circuit is simply stunning. Very reasonable prices for what you get - better value for money than most (if not all) the European circuits.

The view from the South Stand was great, at the end of a long straight into a serries of bends out onto a small straight and then a sweeping right hand bend towards the Viceroy hotel. Having access to the South club was really good as the air conditioning was much appreciated in the heat and on race day you didn't have to queue for drinks or food for very long.

Our first Grand Prix and what a fabulous weekend it turned out to be. For this particular race the south end of the circuit was where most of the action took place. We sat towards the front of the upper south stand which gave us a view of the back end of the straight and a number of turns and chicanes before the cars came back on themselves and pass through to the Marina. Facilities at the circuit pretty good. Not at great variety of food and all "fast" but reasonably priced. Club area offered a wider variety. Taxi was our preferred mode of transport to and from the circuit. Prices reasonable and generally were in plenty full supply. Lots to keep you busy at the circuit and a good transport system of free busses to get you around once there.
Please note that there are no child tickets released for the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 race. Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted at the event. Children over the age of 12 will require a full priced adult ticket.
