Gold 1 is located on Spa's short pit straight and from this area of the grandstand you can enjoy amazing views of the Chicane, the starting grid and the pits! It's one of the most popular grandstands at Spa.

My first visit to Spa , excellent viewing . After visiting Silverstone many times the travelling to and from the circuit was 1st Class . Cannot fault the facilities and will definitely be returning.

Tickets arrived weeks before event so no worries about getting tickets in time. Booked main stand to ensure we had a good view of the pits and were very impressed as seats were right opposite the McLaren garages and the podium. Will be using bookF1.com again once we decide where to go next year. Thank you for a great service.

We arrived on Friday having purchased weekend pit straight grandstand tickets. We drive from Calais which took just under 4 hours with a quick stop and some slow traffic. Saturday (around 10.30) we queued to leave the motorway into Stavelot but was moving and well managed by police and stewards. On Sunday, we drove straight in around 10am. Parked in the yellow parking area all three days (pre-booked) which is made up of fields, all well marshalled. Was about a 20-30 minute walk to the Gold 1 stand from the parking area but straight forward. We had amazing seats right opposite the Mercedes our garage and the winners podium. Block C row 4 seats 39-40 - fantastic! There was plenty of food choices within the grandstand area which you purchased tokens for (10 for €35) and having had a few dishes, all were good quality and generous portions. Could have been more toilets for the amount of people but that was a small thing! Easy to move around, we did walk over to the fan zone but we weren’t really impressed with that so only visited the once! Leaving the track was busy especially on Sunday as expected, only too would be look around you for hidden exits! The stewards that has been in the car parks fri/sat disappeared on Sunday which was a shame but the police directed traffic once onto main roads. It was slow but moving. Took around and hour to hour and a half to get up to speed on the motor way. Sadly an F2 driver lost their life on the Saturday, the marshals and emergency services did a great job and although somber, race day continued with several acts of remembrance which everyone took part in. The racing community really came together and although emotional, was handled with the upmost respect. We enjoyed our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. The scenery is fantastic and you really do under estimate how much the track level changes around the circuit! Would recommend for sure!

Only issue was that we had to walk 5 km from Green Parking to our Seats at Gold 1.. The totally oppesite way. If possible, when booking, the system should be able to guide us to the closest parking.. Otherwise a great trip to Belgien, Spa?

We parked at yellow parking and still had to walk quite far to get to our Gold seating area. Also, the exit was very painful as it took over 2 hours to get out of parking. If may help speed the exit process if there are multiple routes for exiting the parking lots.

From a BookF1 standpoint, I have used their services for multiple GP weekends and have no complaints whatsoever. Keep up the good work! As always, we enjoyed the GP, but a word of caution to anyone less able than myself, be prepared for a 'hike' to get to the track unless you book premium parking. It is not only a 'fair' distance, but very steep and rough terrain. This was for the Grandstand allocated parking.

The event was my first grand prix and it was amazing. The atmosphere, the noise and the sight was really really good. The pit lane walk was something special being that close the the cars, drivers and garages it was brilliant. There was only one problem which was the tv that we was watching the rest of the circuit on was bad and the quality was not as good but apart from that it was fault less. Utterly enjoyed it and a memory to keep for a long time.

We have been to several other F1 tracks and found that the Spa organization was sadly lacking. We had Gold level seats, directly across from the pits, so you would think that we would have a great view of the race from a near by huge screen seeing that we were so central. Sadly, that was not the case. There was a large screen, but I was placed beside us on the same side and we were left with one smaller screen to follow the race. In addition, the fan area, where all the merchandise was sold was on the other end of the track--nothing remotely near us other than one general booth. Limited food booths and washroom facilities too.

Overall the Spa weekend was very enjoyable. Stayed in Liege. From there I got the train to Verviers where there were shuttle buses to the circuit. You could buy a ticket for 10 euro for the three days. The track is fantastic and it is easy to see why it is rated one of the best in F1. You are free to walk the track after the race which is especially nice. The facilities wouldn't be as good as at other circuits I have been at like Barcelona and Red Bull Ring but the track and beautiful location more than make up for that.

Great circuit, very expensive food and drink with limited choices - bring your own! Car parks (in farms) are quite far so be prepared for long trek. Huge traffic queues to exit after race - car park staff not available to direct cars. Commentary is in French and English but in grandstands it's so loud you cannot hear Radio 5 Live or Channel 4/Sky commentary for more in depth info. Small screen above pit area next to useless as sound was out of synch with video and lap times illegible. Spa should make French/English commentary available on separate FM channels and not on loud speakers so fans can choose. Maybe even stream live video on their own web site for ticket holders only - it's not rocket science anymore. Don't forget ear plugs! Seats were hard and had no back - take a cushion at the very least.

Gold 1 seats fantastic good view of pit lane and podium, just opposite the garages. Getting to the circuit was easy but buses crowded on Saturday and Sunday so delays in getting in. Food not as expensive as expected again just pick your time to go as queues are long at busy times

Leave early to get to the track. This is very well attended.

Not being a fan of Formula one I have now been twice to the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa. The reason is my girlfriend is an avid fan of F1 and in particular a guy called Sebastian Vettel. I must admit he comes across as probably one of the nicest racing drivers and is quite funny, just the impression you get when I have seen him being interviewed. The seats in Gold 1 earned me loads of points with my partner and I was impressed too. We stayed at Elephant camping a short walk from the main entrance and run by some nice guys. A good mix of fans from all over Europe instead of just English made it a good place to stay and camp in our camper. Bookf1 sent through tickets in good time and the experience in the pit lane stand in Gold1 was better than getting up at an early hour to get a good spot on the banks in general admission. On race day this year we had a seat so no rush to get to the track at 7 am and strolled in at around 11am instead. We got a drink had a look at overpriced merchandise and took a gentle walk to the stand. We had spotted the seats from pit lane walk on Thursday so knew we had been allocated great seats by bookf1 for the action on all three days. I cannot stress enough that having seats is by far a more pleasurable experience than getting up too early and rushing to the track on your days off. So for a race fan and non race person seats are the best way to enjoy the experience. We arrived back at the camp site without being to tired to enjoy a relaxing evening with a cool beer and glass of wine out of the fridge. I may even treat her to Monza next year and will likely book through this site after lots of homework on where best to stay and of course which seats to try for at the track. Thanks bookf1 for the good seats this year.

As a fan of F1, you can never complain about having an excellent view into the pits. The things I find troubling are when every single cent is squeezed out of people to use the rest rooms etc. Even in the Gold ticket areas.... Food and beverage prices were expectedly high, so there were lots of people who really appreciated being able to take in their own refreshments.
10 Sep 2016
The food and drink in the circuit is expensive.Try and pre book your parking and enter the circuit from Stavelot it will save you a lot of time.

We had a brilliant time. I cannot stress enough that you need to be in Gold 1 so that you can enjoy all of the pit stops and see a lot more action than walking around

Very enjoyable weekend. Perfect seats for a Lewis Hamilton fan, opposite the Mercedes garage and podium. Very hot weather, covered grandstand was cool and sheltered. Expect long walk from car park, plenty of water essential. Food and drink at track expensive, as expected! We took our own after first day. All in all an experience never to be forgotten.

WONDERFUL WEEKEND SEATS WERE PERFECT COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING MORE
