Great seats

I was a bit sceptical about putting my request for certain seats in the little box at the bottom of the order form. How wrong was I? The seats you got me were perfect. Right opposite the Mercedes and Ferrari pits. We were able to view everything going on and my wife was in a perfect position to star spot. Exactly what I requested. We will be using you again for tickets next year as we plan a trip to Canada. I hope you can reserve the same seats for us in Montreal.

a great day at the races

we got great seats by the start line, great atmosphere in the crowd, and a great result for ham but the 2 Italians next to me in there Ferrari gear dropped their heads when vettle's tyre went pop. plenty of food and drink facilities as we walked around the track, met some nice people along the way. it was a really great experience to watch the ham on his come back at vettle hope he win the title this year.

Expensive adrenaline fueled high performance event.

From leaving home mid-day on Saturday with my brother to drive to a Hotel' The Lismore, in Banbury, the weather and the volume of traffic was good and they made the journey a comfortable experience. Banbury is an historic and beautiful 'town' with a large choice of restaurants and bars serving quality food to cater for all tastes. The prices of the Hotel rooms were high relative to the 'quality' of accommodation but recognising the geographic location and the matter of it being an F1 weekend, we were satisfied. The drive to Hinton Airfield P&Ride was straight forward and we were at Silverstone around 9.00am to wander, familiarise ourselves with things, and to decide where to stand (General viewing ticket) to watch the F2, F3, and the Porsche Tourer races take place. We stood against the International Grandstand fence, and behind rows of 'organised' people who were sitting on canvas picnic seats that they had brought with them, and we all had a view of the start/finish line, the emerging pit lane at Abbey Corner which had an overhead race position gantry permanently scrolling around keeping us informed of race position, those who had dropped out, lap times etc. We also had a 'large screen' to our left which showed live feed of activity taking place on the out of sight parts of the track, accidents, and other incidents as they happened, which was brilliant.

Great weekend polite helpful staff

This year was my twentieth Silverstone grand prix. I booked late and had concerns that the postal cut off was ten days prior to the event and didn't want to miss friday action collecting tickets. The staff understood and posted out my tickets which was great. Wide variety of food on offer this year. Circuit staff were helpful and polite. Plenty of clean toilets around the circuit. Only suggestion next year. Perhaps a temporary foot bridge for centre access ticket holders near to the international straight / F1 wing side of the circuit as it is a long walk to the hanger straight bridge or copse tunnel / main entrance bridges for centre access. Well done Silverstone.

Great Weekend

The facilities are by far the best of any other GP we have been to and the roving Grandstand seats for the Friday and Saturday allow you to watch from a different stand although you need to be in early for Saturday. We have done many GPs all over the world but Silverstone have now got it right . Lets hope they agree a mutual conclusion to keep it there after 2019.

Simply fantastic

I couldn't fault a thing. What an amazing weekend. The highlight was the pit lane walk which I knew nothing about until opening up the ticket package to discover the wrist bands. The seats allocated were perfect offering a superb view. The hotel I chose was also perfect and getting to and from the Circuit was well sign posted so totally stressfree. I can't wait to do it all again next year. Wonderful wonderful happy memories.

Fantastic British Grand Prix Weekend

Went to Silverstone with my Dad and a friend who's never experienced a Grand Prix weekend. Not a negative word about it but was mind blowing and always Silverstone is always a fantastic weekend.

amazing weekend of motor sport

The weekend has it all, great atmosphere, events and social side. However I personally believe the drivers and Formulae 1 community are missing a huge opportunity to get closer to the fans throughout the weekend and remove the barriers which would explode the sport even further. The campsites should become part of the event with drivers past and present making meaningful visits along with their teams! PS A large screen is needed at the entry point end of the pit lane end to allow Pit Grandstand fans to watch during the race as the only screen is at the midway point of the straight!

Fantastic Weekend

Had a fantastic weekend, relaxing and hassle free. Atmosphere was amazing and everyone seemed to enjoy everything the circuit had to offer. We were all there for the F1 racing but there was so much more to see and do. The air displays and concerts were great and the driver appearances on stage both Saturday and Sunday evenings were not to be missed, they were having as much fun as we were. We stayed in a hotel and the drive in and out of the circuit every day was a doddle, so well organised and no queuing. The only negative i have is the De Vere Hotel in Daventry where we stayed. Racing fans were clearly beneath their standard of clientele, amusing that we chose them because they were the cheapest option. Will definitely be booking for next year.

Review of British Grand Prix 2016

A reserve seat should be reserved for ALL race activities. I have never attended an F1 event where I could not sit in my reserved seat for qualifying. I should not be subsidizing GA or other grand stand ticket holders. Qualifying is second only to the race itself. I felt RIP-OFF by this policy. I will think TWICE before considering bookF1 for race tickets if this is the policy for F1 events.

If only the weather were better!

A great weekend including an excellent Thursday Pit Walk with Lewis selfies. Got soaked walking ten paces from the grandstand for coffee. Wouldn't recommend the very top row of the stand as when it hailed and rained we were driven from our seats. Apart from that and the poor quality food on sale the event itself was very enjoyable.

Sunday 10th July 2016

Great experience went last year and booked again because we had such a good time and this year was even better. The whole experience was fab x I've checked my ticket was on international pit straight but I can't find where it says what band we were.

bus driver

Everything was great apart from the park and ride bus driver got lost going back to the car park once the race was over . Ok not a problem it can happen but the same happened last year the drivers don't have a clue where they are going !

Amazing!

Great weekend. The "here to help" staff are so helpful and cannot do enough for you. My mum has to use a wheelchair & one of your staff at Becketts corner wheeled her along for a good 5 mins coz all the golf buggys were busy. Other staff helped to fold up the chair and put it under the stands when we were going to our seats. Really really nice and friendly people. More toilets would be good - spend too long queuing. Again I have never come across such polite helpful staff ever anywhere

Brilliant Weekend

Well even the downside of camping without electricity did not take away from the whole atmosphere of the British GP - even the rain didn't dampen spirits. There are not enough toilet facilities at the race track and on race day the queues were about 15 minutes long. International Pit Straight could do with more giant screens as my seat (J0005) had great views of Vale and Club corners and was right on finish line but the giant screens were not easy to see. Already looking to book for next year!
