Located towards the rear of the starting grid, this grandstand offers views to the cars as they start their engines to lunge onto the first straight.

Booked our tickets as soon as they came on sale. Decided to take a weeks holiday around the GP. The south of France really is beautiful. Ticket prices were as cheap as anywhere we found. The facilities at Paul Ricard are excellent and we will definately be back next year. To top a wonderful week we were then upgraded to start finish line seats a result as good as Hamilton's!

Although the race itself was okay; the organisation, control and infustructure was not good. Inside the circuit, although the information points were okay, the bridges crossing the track were inadequate and poorly organised. It looked as though they were surprised at the volume of people moving across and around the circuit. Outside the stadium was a complete disaster with very long and poorly organised traffic queues and parking in a forest with little signage. There was no marshalling to get us out of the forest and although the onset of a thunderstorm didn't help, the lack of organisation or control meant hours or waiting to leave and it wasn't until someone had the foresight to open up the stadium late in the evening to allow the traffic to flow, did anyone move. If the race is to be held in the same venue next year more planning and control needs to take pace.

Tickets not booked through bookf1.com. 1st day (Thursday) was sent from one parking entry to another! Email from the event informed us parking was open at 2.30 but opened at 3. 3 hours in total from arriving at track until entry! Entry on Friday was more organised but exiting was a nightmare, didn’t move 1 inch for an hour. Given these experiences we left even earlier on the sat/Sunday. We left the circuit at 7 on Sunday only to sit in the care for 5 hours without knowing what was happening. The queue to get over the ONE bridge across the track was a joke! There were not enough facilities (eating/drinking) queuing for over an hour to be served. There was about 10 stands serving approx 20,000 people from the grandstand. The Patrouille De France performance was only visible for us in the grandstand via the screens yet we had paid £500 per ticket & couldn’t see it. There was uproar in the stands. We pre-paid for our parking to ensure a space yet no ticket was asked for and no-one was paying any money on entry. We took our 2 grandsons for a special experience....an experience it was not! The only saving grace was that Lewis Hamilton won, the one thing we were hoping for. We paid the price for the re-opening of a circuit. They need to improve things 100% to get this right.
