Description

Stand K is located on the start-finish straight, only the second grandstand away from the Main Grandstand. Located on the optimal middle-point between the start-line and Turn 1, this stand gives you excellent, uninterrupted views of the cars as they tackle the track once the race is a go, speeding down to the first hard-braking turn which has been the most exciting turn for overtakings and more.

A great experience at Montmelo.

A great experience the whole weekend. Coach service was outstanding throughout the whole event, arriving on time and departing the circuit super fast. I would certainly use BOOK F1.COM again.

SpanishGP not one for the fans

Book F1 were great. The track/view all okay. Not much going on at the Circuit for the fans compared to Silverstone. No alcohol allowed in the circuit. After the race, we waited for 45 mins on the track to see Lewis and the Merc team photo only to be bullied off by the officials/police minutes before they done it, so totally missed it. Disappointing end to mediocre experience.

Brilliant weekend: even better than expected

I attended the Spanish Grand Prix with my 12 year old son and it was our first ever F1 race. I have to say the whole experience was outstanding from beginning to end. From the pit walk on Thursday through to the race on Sunday could not have been any better. Our seats in Granstand K were outstanding offering amazing views of a great deal of the track. For anyone else attending in future years, go for K. My son is a massive F1 fan and he loved every second of the experience and thought it was out of this world. I am not a big fan of F1 but I thought the experience was excellent also and would recommend a trip. The venue is very easy to get to and not massively expensive even though it is around 30 km from Barcelona. There are plenty of trains and buses running from central Barcelona. All in all the experience codnt be topped.

Spain 2019

Have to say all class. Our flight was cancelled by easyJet and the staff at Book F1 helped us. Against the odds we made the race. All good.

Race and Circuit great. Transfers terrible.

We have been to the Circuit De Catalunia before and again the race experience was great. Facilities were clean but no food for those with intolerances so need to take your own. But the transfers were dreadful. On the way there we paid for a taxis and the train. On the way back it was our intention to get the bus transfer or taxi back to Montemelo. We could not get on the bus as we did not have a ticket and no one would help/tell us where to get one, and the taxi drivers refused to take us to Montemelo as its only a short journey. They wanted to take us to Barcelona for £100.00. Really disappointed in this - I have a significant back problem at the moment, had to walk back to the train station, but usually walk with no problem. Race finished at 5.10 and we did not get back into our Hotel in Barcelona until 8.15pm due to all the time wasted waiting for taxis and in the queue for buses that they would not let us board. I know that the transfers are not your responsibility, but the web site does not accurately state what problems might be encountered. Still loved the race and will be going again nevertheless

Great weekend stand K

On Saturday we took a taxi which we would not recommend due to cost and traffic jams as well as missing out on the atmosphere on route to the circuit. Sunday we took the really easy train from Barcelona to the town of Montmelo and then walked to the circuit (30mins) - although there is a shuttle bus. We chose to walk to make the most of the atmosphere and the family run bakeries, bars and stalls selling F1 merchandise in the town, i would recommend getting food from this town as its really good quality and cheap compared to in the track which was painfully overpriced as you can imagine, not to mention everywhere sells beers for €1 and the 30 min walk was perfect time to have a few beers on the way to the track. it was a bit of a shame that there was no alcohol in the track but we entered through gate 6 which had a big bar/restaurant set up right outside the gate, although it was expensive you could get good Spanish food and huge drinks from here and it had a great atmosphere as well as a good environment to let the queues for entry to go down! there is also a good bar/food/seating area by the roundabout before car park C and bust park C on the way to gate 4 and 5 that is good for pre-race atmosphere however im sure there are also places all around the track. We had tickets in stand K which were excellent seats, right in front of the speed trap- seeing the cars at their fastest as well as them exiting the pits, then breaking into turn 1 which we had a good view of. From our seats we had a good view of the cars until about half way round turn 3 and they came back into view again at turn 5 and could see them until they disappeared from view round turn 9. The stand is a situated really well seeing so many parts of the track, i would only say there is no big screen in front of K to follow the rest of the race however there are ones in front of stand E and stand J which you can watch and follow the race on. there is a track entrance after the race on the paddock side of stand J which we went to and got down to the podium for a great view of the celebrations. Post race sadly the atmosphere does die out fairly quickly i think due to the no alcohol rule so doesn't have the post race concerts or anything that a number of other tracks do, however Barcelona is only 30 mins away on the train so excellent for the evening. The weekend on the whole was awesome and in a summary i would definitely recommend it to anyone. Id recommend getting the train to the track as it is really well run and very easy to use, stand K was fantastic being able to see so much, and although there is no drinking in the track there are a number of places outside at the gate entrances, particularly gate 6 was great with a really good atmosphere, i know there are also places on the way to gate 4 and 5. Make the most of getting breakfast and a coffee at the family run bakeries in montmelo as well as picking up lunch as its cheap and good, not to mention the €1 beers being sold at all of them and great atmosphere on route to the track. really great weekend!

Racing weekend

The racing weekend as racing went was fantastic, the four different types of racing that were on show were fantastic, from the Gp3 to the Porsche super cup all were brilliant. 1.The only two things that let the weekend down were as follows: Terrible food the food was just awful, we waited for 20 mins for two hotdogs and one chips, all of which when it got to us was stone cold and vastly over priced. I would definitely advise getting food on route, we ended out using some of the small shops and stalls on our walk through montomelo town all very nice and decent price! 2.A low number of staff on duty at the turn styles on the Thursday and Friday. When we arrived on the Thursday for the pit walk we ended out waiting in a cue for the best part of 30 mins, easily avoidable by having more than one chap on the turnstiles checking tickets and one chap checking bags. 3.The merchandise was heavily over priced, when looking in the one large fan store on site we noticed that all of the prices were heavily ramped up, this was expected anyway as it was the race weekend but the amount by was not acceptable. The range of merchandise was poor aswell, if you are a Merc, Ferrari, Redbull or Mclaren fan then you are sorted, however there isn’t much to show for the other teams, disappointed. Other than these few things it was a fantastic weekend with plenty of excitement, great event that I will definitely go to again in the future.
