Lot I bought ticket for was full. I had to go to a satellite lot and walk 1.5 miles to the track.

We attended the race with our 8 and 12 year old, and everyone had a great time! The concerts were great, there were a ton of food and drink choices, and everything was kept surprisingly clean for the amount of people there!

My dad and I bought tickets for Sunday race at Turn 9. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end, greats seats from our location, great environment and crowd, perfect logistics and staff, sometimes the lines for stores and food shops were a bit long but they were worth the wait, will for sure go back for next year race.

The screen opposite turn 9 stand is too small and we could not hear any commentary or announcements!

Bought my parking ticket and there was not any space in my lot. Had to park 2-3 miles from the entrance and by the time I made it, the race had ended.

Solo que en la vuelta 9 no se escuchaba nada de lo que pasaba en las pantallas y las entrevistas

We booked an RV from Houston and drove across to COTA arriving on the Thursday afternoon. Accessing the site was easy and there was plenty of room with all the spaces being drive through. The facilities at the campsite were scarce but the circuit was right along side. All in all I would give the RV parking 5 stars! The circuit was easily accessible and it was quite easy to move around. Louise was concerned that there may not be any vegetarian options from the venders but was pleasantly surprised with the selection available. Prices are about the same as all of the other circuits so no shock there. Our seats in the turn 9 stand were excellent and we could see a large proportion of the circuit. Our only complaint is that the steps to the stand were staffed on the Friday and Saturday but not the Sunday. This meant that people were walking to the top of the stairs to take photos and blocking our view. Asking people to move out of the way becomes quite tedious after 2 hours of racing. If BookF1 could influence COTA in any way, that would be it. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to others.

Great circuit and brilliant area, we hired a car and stayed over in sunset Valley rather then Downtown Austin. You lose a bit of the atmosphere (many of the fan bits are in Austin), however it was a 20min drive every morning to the track (pre-paid for parking passes) and was pretty much a straight line. Didn't hit any traffic there or coming back as well. The circuit is well laid out, always bits going on (music, TVs, acts, etc) and didn't queue once for the restrooms and only short queues for bar/food (at the right times). Turn 9 was a blast, great views of the s-bend and fast straight going into the hairpin, and then limited views of the back-straight. If you haven't done the USGP I would definitely recommend it!

Of all the races i attended, circuit of the americas has a beautiful layout, the view from turn 9 was spectacular. You can see the cars as far as from turn 7 till down the straight line from turn 11 to 12 including the overtaking at turn 11. This give you a clear 35 seconds of cars viewing. The transport from Austin downtown to the circuit was bit expensive, $50.00 for a return trip per day

Lovely weekend at the race.facilities excellent and access and departure Fantastic.i only encountered one problem behind stand turn 9 a girl served Me 2 bottles of Diet Coke and gave me 20 dollars back out of a fifty After investigating the price elsewhere it turns out they were 5 dollars each I went back to her and she was rude and condensending toward me.i clearly Asked her to check till and she blasted at me.her colleague told her to give me The proper change and she continued to be rude.she gave me 10 dollars and again told her I'm still short 10 that's when she fired the last 10 dollars at me. I said thank you to both staff but they completely blanked me.i didn't travel From Ireland to get done by a dishonest member of staff at the circuit. I will be taking this further with the course manager.as far as the rest of the weekend it was a blast and I thank you for that

We waited in line for 3.5 hours on Friday for driver autographs. The "no line/first-come, first-served" policy was DANGEROUS and ridiculous. Hundreds of people surrounded a heavy barrier, meaning that the people in back were pushing and crushing those of us in front. I was shoved into the people in front of me and fell into the barrier. A small child beside me was also pushed hard into the barrier and started screaming in panic. His mother begged people not to hurt her son. I couldn't move and had to scream at people to stop pushing. Your staff was all inside the barrier and did NOTHING to try to stop the aggression and chaos. You need an organized system of LINES so people who arrive first get first access to the drivers, and most importantly, so people who come later don't aggressively try to shove their way to the front. People who arrive later should have to wait their turn; people who arrive first should be first in line. Also, better signage is needed to direct us to seating. A half-dozen staff stood near the elevators on pedestrian bridges and did nothing to direct traffic or help. Meanwhile, practically no staff up front near main entrance to direct traffic and answer questions. Better tram system needed to shuttle people to far parts of track: Again, no signage, no organized line queues; you're inviting chaos and encouraging people to push and shove rather than stand in organized lines. TERRIBLE organization of signage and staffing. Poorly maintained, dirty restrooms; where is your staffing? Lots of staff just standing around talking to each other, while their service was badly needed elsewhere.

Unfortunately the weather was awful but we did enjoy the experience. However the biggest problem was getting out of the circuit where we had to queue for 4 hours to get the shuttle bus back to Austin. None of the circuit staff that we asked knew where to go for the busses. As we were wet and cold this was not a pleasant experience.

FIRST TIME THERE AND NEVER AGAIN, PAID FOR PARKING TICKET WAS UNABLE TO USE THEY CLOSED PARKING HAD TO GET A SHUTTLE FROM DOWN TOWN AUSTIN, THE WAIT TO GET THE SHUTTLE BACK WAS 2 HOURS, PRICES FOR DRINK AND FOOD WAS DISGUSTING, DID NOT HAVE ANY SHELTER FOR PEOPLE TO GET OUT OF THE RAIN, ORGANIZATION WAS AWFUL, THEY DID NOT DO HALF THE FEATURE THEY HAD ON THE SCHEDULE, TOTALLY A WASTE OF A LOT OF MONEY

Very challenging weekend due to weather and cold temperature. Friday afternoon and Saturday wash out but opening pit road was a great consolation for the patrons. Overall it was a fun weekend for us.

We had an awesome time visiting COTA for the Formula 1 Race and would definitely consider doing it again. Our seats were awesome and there were so many things to do and see. It was a great track with lots of good views. Staff seemed very helpful and friendly also.
