I've been in Japan for 2015 Japanese Grand Prix. Everything was excelent, from the ticket purchase with book F1 until the service in the circuit. The organization inside was perfect and the service on the paddock too. Everyone in the staff speak English , which makes it much easier because communication is a bit difficult in Japan . A good tip , take a train from Nagoya to Suzuka and a taxi from the station until the circuit. We did this on Saturday and it was perfect . On Sunday we rented a car and it took us almost two hours to return to Nagoya. Within the circuit all was peaceful and organized manner , without riots. The Japanese are to be congratulated , are very polite.

An excellent Grand Prix and a great facility. The circuit is reasonably hard to get to and from each day. We stayed at Nagoya and the first day it too 2.5 hours from hotel to circuit. Its is a 40min train ride the a 20 min bus ride (or taxi) but it is a bit of a slow process. The next day was about 1.5 hours so it got better really. It is a must to book the train tickets before the day- really as soon as you get to Nagoya (or where ever you stay) otherwise the lines up are insane. That way you get a seat and a time. In the evening we missed our train each day as we were having too much much fun, but the ticket still gets you on, it just depends if you get a seat or stand. We stood one day and got seats the other 2. There is no need to rush from the circuit as if you wait the crowd is a lot smaller and you get out faster. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the Williams garage, a wander around the Paddock for 30min then a drink in the Williams Motor-home seeing Bruno Senna do an interview. We bumped into Mark Webber, which made my day, and a few other such as Button, Perez and legend Niki Lauda. That was an experience of a lifetime!! After speaking to some of the team members they stay closer to the circuit, if you can get a hotel it may be better. Nagoya is very good, but by the time you get home you are pretty well ready for bed anyway. The circuit itself is excellent, but is very and doesn't have and under/over passes to make access to other spot easy. Just to get from the pit straight to the esess is a 20 min walk. There needs to be better access to other parts of the track as if you look to walk you miss most of the session. Other entertainment other than F1 is pretty well non-existent. In Melbourne there is non-stop entertainment around the circuit in between the F1- Suzuka could improve there. We were in the Paddock Club but what we saw of food & drink prices outside of that was pretty well priced. Merchandise was expensive, but that's just F1. The Friday crowd was low and a bit disappointing but Saturday and Sunday was crazy and the Japanese earn the reputation of being F1 nuts- when Kumuai finished 3th they when crazy- great to see. The Japanese people are VERY polite and a really good county to visit.
